Desire a Challenging Position as Chemical Engineer with great deal of experience in many aspects of refinery production, operation, research & design, as well as in the commissioning and erection of industrial plants.

Currently, I am working as a Process/Project Engineer in Technical Services Department of KNPC-Mina Abdullah Refinery, Kuwait from June, 2008. The Capacity of the Refinery is 270,000 BPSD. Additionally I am also working as Project Engineer for Clean Fuel Project-2020.

Previously I worked at State of the Art Refinery in Pakistan, known as Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), which is a Joint venture between government of Pakistan and United Arab Emirates with investment of US $ 886 million. Refinery operating capacity is 100,000 bbl/day and was commissioned in 2000. I have participated in commissioning phase activities, master start up and performance test evaluation of different units of refinery

My responsibilities include Process monitoring and optimization, technical assistance in modifications through PFD’s, P&ID’s, technical evaluation of chemical and catalyst, chemical and catalyst budgeting, Blending of products for maximum and on specification products, material balance and inventory control of crude oils and products.

• Training in JAPAN:
I got training on Refinery Operational Management held at Japan, under the head of Cosmo Oil Company Limited, in the coordination with Japan Cooperation Center, Petroleum (JCCP). My training was concentrated on Light Naphtha Isomerization, Heavy oil cracking, Reformate De-benzene, Flare Recovery system, Crude oil Tank Washing/Cleaning (COW) and Energy Conservation of Refinery.

1. Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills” training conducted by Pakistan Institute of Management Sciences (PIMS).

5. Moving beyond ISO 9001:2000 by Pakistan Institute of Management (PIMS).

• Auditor Training for IMS System:
I am qualified Internal Auditor for IMS System (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999)

Process Engineer at KNPC-Mina Abdulla Refinery, Kuwait. (June 2008 ~ to date)

Currently I am working as Process Engineer in Technical Services Department of KNPC-Mina Abdullah Refinery, Kuwait. The refinery overall capacity is 2,70,000 BPSD.

I am responsible for:
1. CDU-Crude Distillation Units. (Two Trains. Train-1, 80,000 BPSD and Train-2, 190,000 BPSD)
2. ARDS-ATM Residue Desulphurization Unit. (Two Trains each having capacity of 42000 BPSD)
3. VDU-Vacuum Distillation Unit. (Two Trains having capacity 74,000 BPSD each)
4. VGO Hydrocraker Units. (Two Trains, having capacity 42000 BPSD each.
5. Delayed Coker Units (Two Trains, 40,000 BPSD each)
6. KNPC-Clean Fuel Project (CFP), Team Member as a Process Engineer.
I am working as a core member (Process Engineer) for KNPC Clean Fuel Projects which include new crude units (4,70,000 BPSD) and hydro-desulphurization units capability to produce ultra low sulfur products like, Gasoline, Diesel, Aviation Turbine Kerosene and Fuel oil.
