01) Reporting to GM / Manager Total Quality Control.
02) Responsible of Chemical as well as Textile Analysis of Polyester and Acrylic Fibre Product.
03) Generation of QC Reports to respective department through LAN.
04) Developing and Verification of Analytical methods and Procedures.
05) To maintain and audit the documentation of ISO-9001 (2000) and 14001 (1996) for Annual Auditors.
06) Planning and Execution of testing frequencies during Shutdown / Startup Activities.
07) To control and maintain the level of Inventory in lab. as well as in Store.
08) Instruments annual calibration and timely maintenance.
09) To conduct the training of newly inducted QC Engineers and staff.
10) Evaluation and Solution of Marketing Complaints.

1) Gas Chromatograph with TCD and FID.
2) FTIR.
3) Spectrophotometer.
4) Differential Scanning Colorimeter.

QUALITY CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES
The QC responsibilities comprises the following sections:-

1) Polymer Section:
1- Polymixture Analysis by GC (TCD).
2- Dope (PAN) Analysis.
3- Acrylic Waste Recycle Analysis.
4- PET slurry conc.
5- PET Intrinsic Viscosity. etc.

2) Solvent (DMF) Recovery Section:
1- DMF – Water by Refractometer.
2- Moisture by GC (FID)
3- Acidity by titration.

3) Textile Section
1- Denier by Vibromate.
2- Tensile properties by Instron, Dynamometer and Lenzing.
3- Oil extraction.
4- Moisture.
5- Physical inspection, etc

4) Dyeing Section.
1- New shade development by Maxilon and Astrazon dyes.
2- Data Color Applications.
3- Dye Fastness properties, etc.

5) Water Section.
This section involves the complete analysis of Raw Water, Demineralised Water, Boiler feed Water, Cooling Water and Waste water.
6) Coupon Analysis.
To install and removal of Corrosion coupon and Bacterial growth coupon in cooling water systems for a time specific period.




7) Raw Material Analysis
All type of Raw Materials received on plant are regularly checked
by QC Department before taken into Main Store or Production.

1) Master of Science (Chemistry) in Year-1995 from the University of Peshawar
Pakistan.
2) Bachelor of Science (Biology, Chemistry) in Year-1992 from the University of Peshawar Pakistan.
3) Bachelor of Education in Year-1996 from the Allama Iqbal Open University Pakistan.

1) Got three months professional training from Italian QC expert Miss Careman villagas in Year-2000
2) Got four weeks training of Gel Dyeing from the Ciba Specialty Chemicals Karachi Pakistan.
3) Also worked under the supervision of Korean dyeing expert Mr. I.K. YUNG from Year-2000 to 2003.

Dewan Salman Fibre Ltd. is a big business venture of
Dewan Mushtaq Group situated at Hattar, Haripur, Pakistan. In this Industrial Park, there are five synthetic fibre-producing plants. In which the average per annum production of Polyester Fibre is 2 Lac Tons and Acrylic Fibre is 20000 Tons. Pakistan’s only acrylic plant producing dyed as well as raw white fibre.
Performing my duties as an Assistant Manager Quality Control
Department after regular promotions. The Polyester Fibre Plant was installed by Samyang Co. Korea in 1991. The plant has started his production in 1991 and extended in 1992. The Acrylic Plant was installed with the Technical Collaboration of an Italian Company, Noyvallesina Engineering Italy. The regular production of Acrylic Plant started in 1999. The QC Section has started his working under the supervision of an Italian QC Expert Miss Careman Villagas.
EXPERIENCE 2 (05-Years)
Worked as Chargman Chemical in the Pakistan Ordinance Factories from 1994 to Year 2000. During the job I was involved in the analysis of various types of Propellants. I also completed the safety courses on regular basis.
