Safety Representative/HSE Coordinator

Head over all HSE and Safety Issues on Offshore Rig.

„X Coordinate training on regulatory requirements including initiating and developing curriculum and training materials.
„X Lead behavior-based safety program implementation team.
„X Assist in coordination of 24-hour response programs for spills (fuel, oil, and chemicals) fire, vessel security, and first aid and oversee investigation team for incident and work-related injuries and illnesses.
„X Compile and present information on safety statistics; including, but not limited to safety trends, accident prevention, and hazard identification.
„X Audit multiple departments and worksites for safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance as well as permit to work and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
„X Perform atmospheric testing prior to employees entering confined spaces.
„X Maintain, inventory, and ship facility¡¦s hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
„X Maintain Material Safety Data Sheet stations and records, as well as, conduct training on company¡¦s hazardous communication program.
„X Orientate all personnel as they arrive at facility and keep up with all personnel on board.
„X Organize and facilitate weekly safety meetings.
„X Keep and maintain records to ensure all OSHA and Coast Guard regulations are being Followed.
„X Inspection and upkeep of all safety equipment and maintain updated log of all safety equipment.
„X Treat and document Illnesses and Injuries that occur.
„X Perform Incident Investigations on first aids, near misses and spills.
