• Establishing PQR as per approved WPS of various materials like carbon
steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel and dissimilar material.
• Calibration of in-house measuring and inspection equipment.
• Technical evaluation of purchase request.
• Conducting welder qualification according with approved PQR for
various materials and welding process as per requirement.
• Preparation of inspection test plan & job procedure with respect to
specification and job requirements.
• Selection of right filler metal to the right job in accordance with
approved WPS.
• Review of fit –up, welding visuals and other inspection report.
• Inspection of blasting and painting
• Conducting on job training for the workers
• Arranging for non-destructive testing
• Interpretation of non-destructive testing.(DPT,MPT,UT &RT)
• Dealing with third party inspector for various quality inspection ,
• Testing, commissioning, submitting records & test certificates to the
clients
