CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: UNIT MANAGER –MARKETING & OPERATIONS,
Being in the responsible position, I will report to the CEO & Sr.Divisional Manager of the Shipping & Project Division and will be responsible for the following.

MARKETING FRONT
• Conducted a personal contact survey to introduce the company’s product to our customers.

• Coordinating global circulation of cargo orders and open tonnage to our exclusive network of principals and brokers.

• Sourcing suitable Vessels for Charterers.

• Fixing cargoes for principals and brokerage house. Specially fixing Project Cargoes, Bulk & Break Bulk in inter Persian Gulf, African, Indian Ocean range.

• Initiate, negotiate and complete fixture agreements with the charterers & Owners.

• Liaising with the Cargo Ship Brokers & Vessel owners related to urea, Ammonia, LNG, Project Cargoes for the port agency appointment at Omani Ports/Terminals.
• Preparation And Follow-Up Of Freight /Charter Hire Invoices.

• Develop the company's relationship with old customers and develop new customers regionally.
Additional Responsibilities
• Freight Forwarding for various containerized, Air, Land Cargoes.
• Achieving Monthly targets given by the management.
• Maintaining the Month/Yearly report & stats.
• Keen Observation on competitors and their services.
• Maintaining the market Intelligence.
• Market Survey on New Project and new business opportunities related to Transportation, Shipping and Logistics.



OPERATIONS FRONT

• Working Closely with Principals, terminal operators, stevedores, port authorities, government officials and other parties to ensure safe and efficient practices and methods.

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities for vessels while in port, including boarding and husbanding vessels when required. This also includes all necessary arrangements and coordination prior to the vessel’s arrival to affect a smooth and efficient turnaround. This position generally works autonomously, referring only exceptional problems to the Sr.Divisional Manager in Muscat.
