EXPERIENCE
I currently hold a position as an HSE Training Coordinator at Escravos Gas to Liquid (EGTL) Project at Escravos, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria (Africa) The EGTL project was estimated at 2 billion (US) and is currently due to complete in December of 2010. My responsibilities include the research, development, writing and instruction of material for Craft Personnel, Front line Supervisors and Management. We are currently developing training (safety, craft and supervision) from a grass root aspect due to the delicate nature of our contract. Training information is inclulsive of KBR company standards and policies. Molding this information to comply with Nigerian philosophy has been extremely challenging and most rewarding.
As an NCCER Certified Training Manager my responsibilities included the research and development training manuals for Frontline Supervisors and Managers. Final draft was achieved with diligent effort from our training management team and support group. Manual information included company standards, policies and best practices that best represent our company as professional constructors in Continuous Improvement, Leadership and Planning. In addition I have been responsible for promoting and completing all facets of NCCER education to include enrollment, teaching and form uploads. I have also successfully taught (in part or in whole) NCCER courses to include Safety Technology, Site Safety, Pipe Fitting and Welding.
During my tenure as a Lead Estimator my responsibilities required utilization of an internal estimating program. TIC has since incorporated the MC2 program into our estimating process. I was on the original team to convert the MC2 program (pipe) to fit Industry specific parameters. This lining up with the Quality Assurances needed in successful project estimation. Information included: Man Power / Man Hour summaries, Milestone schedules, Subcontract assessments, Commodity breakdown, Material (Equipment) and Procurement information to include all associated costs.
