I started my working career in 1989 as a budget analyst with Sokoto state Government and join banking in 1990 as a pioneer branch manager of Peoples Bank of Nigeria Plc Argungu branch. However, after being a Head of Operations and Branch Manager between 1993-2000 with International Trust Bank I was moved by the bank to become the pioneer Head Compliance Unit of the bank. I joined NUB International Bank in 2001 and became the bank’s pioneer Group Head of Internal Control a position I held until 2006. After the consolidation I was appointed Group Head North –Internal Control of the consolidated bank (First Inland Bank Plc) to date.

I am a graduate of management studies from Usman Danfodio University Sokoto in the year 1988. I obtained my MBA in the year 2000 and also qualify as a certify Internal Auditor in the year 2003.
