Professional Experience
• Safety Officer and Training Officer for a multi-skilled and multi-disciplined workforce, also providing on site Auxiliary fire training.
• Carrying out Regular Safety Audits, Risk Assessments, Safe Working Systems and Toolbox Talks to highlight any Learning Opportunities, Areas of Improvement and ensuring Communication of new developments.

• Incident Controller: - First turn out of Emergency Response includes liaison with customer and external Blue light services.
• In charge of the training and development of crew members and implementing future development / training plans, working to the Individuals agreed plan developed from the Personal Review Process, along with any possible highlighted training opportunities.
• Responsible for the early stage of the disciplinary process covering Sickness, Standards and Behaviour.
• Complying with HAZMAT, HAZID, HAZOP, QRA & COMAH Regulations, developing Fire Plans and risk assessment along with practical demonstrations and exercises giving tangible evidence to provide to the External Insurance Auditors.
• Developing New Operating Procedures and updating existing procedures to ensure compliance to the set Safety Standards. Issuing and Accepting Permit to Work for activities being carried out within the organisation.
• Experience in the Safe closure of Emergency Situations covering risks associated with Heavy Chemicals such as Hydrocarbons and Polar Solvents as well as the surfactants and pharmaceutical groups.
• Security Officer Training, Duties including: - Site building patrol, enforcing rules and regulations of the Site R.T.A.’s, Thefts, Crimes and Traffic management.
