Over six years working experience with a Big 4 Chartered Accountancy Firm within their assurance and business advisory department.
The last three years of career has been spent focusing on gaining experience of European Financial Services Industry, along with enhancing the management skills and working in multi cultural environment.
In addition to the Financial Services audit experience gained, I have also been involved in risk advisory services, which includes SOX and COSO implementation project in a bank and insurance sectors and consultancy on Business Process Risks and Controls. A unique experience of over sighting financial side of implementation of ERP system was also gained.
Eductation
During the course of my four years training, I qualified my accountancy degree from Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountant, which includes to the detailed examining of International Financial Reporting Standards and my practical audit experience has exposed me to practical implementation and complexities of these standards. Before this I completed my Bachelor in Commerce from University of Karachi.
