Project: The Land Administration Project

• Wrote a proposal on the Geographical Information Systems aspect of the project on how to create a Geo-database (using ArcGIS 9.1) of streets of block areas.
• Produced Photo indexes of project block areas


Project: Vulnerability Surveillance and Response System (VSRS) - USAID
Opportunities and Industrialization Centres International (OICI)
Counterpart International (CPI)

• Trained and supervised data collectors on the use of GPS units to collect GPS data on farms and social amenities in Northern Ghana
• Generated Thematic Maps for analysis and decision making
• Plotted farms and social amenities with GPS co-ordinates to develop a GIS Module for the setting up of a VSRS
• Supervised the development of a database to develop a MIS module for the VSRS

Project: Trade and Investment Program for Competitive Export Economy– USAID
Chemonics International

Trained and led a team to map mango farms in the Eastern, Greater Accra and Volta regions of Ghana
• Mapped out farm boundaries tracked by Global Position System receivers in the WGS projection systems.
• Transformed farm maps from the WGS 84 system to the Ghana Metre Grid and composed base maps for field workers.
• Coordinated data flow and verification between the office and the field
• Managed a database designed to evaluate and estimate the volume of exportable mango and papaya fruit yield in Southern


Project: Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) – Social Infrastructure
CC&M Partnership
• Trained data collectors on the use of hand-held GPS Units to collect GPS data on social infrastructure in all regions of Ghana
• Composed base maps for the MCA Project Defense in Washington DC, U.S.A
• Provided administrative support – managed data collected and plotted infrastructural maps for the feasibility cost analysis on the MCA project
Project: HIV Prevalence Mapping
Ghana Aids Commission (GAC)

• Member of a team consulted to summarize and categorize quarterly report of NGOs and CBOs using GAC funds to alleviate HIV/AIDS and support people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWA)
• Produced Thematic Maps of HIV prevalence at sentinel sites chosen by the GAC.
