Provide dynamic leadership in maintaining trouble free production while strive to improve productivity through optimum utilization of human resource and equipment. Identify bottlenecks in design, equipment, procedures etc to achieve above targets.

„« Worked on two projects of LPG/NGL Plants, one at early stage of career in 1990 - 1991 and other three years back in 2004 ¡V 2006. Actively participated in installation, pre commissioning, commissioning, performance test phases of the project.
„« Participated in Bid Document preparation for LPG Plant II while identified problem areas and design deficiencies in LPG Plant I, to be incorporated in the document. Various equipment sizing and design basis was reviewed to improve the productivity of the new plant. As a result, design production achieved irrespective of season/weather.
„« Coordinated with Malaysian design contractor in design of LPG Plant II. Cost of the project USD 35 million.
„« Reviewed EPC Engineering documents from operating / maintenance perspective to ensure meeting operational requirements. Also reviewed spare parts requirements in coordination with maintenance staff(commssioning/2 years / insurance spares) and liaise with EPC contractor to ensure availability on time.
„« Participated LPG Plant II Hazop Study at design and construction stage with foreign contractor and improved safe operability of the plant. Various action points have been identified to implement for achieving safe and smooth operation of the plant.
„« Participated LPG Plant II SIL Study at design stage and identified potential risks of loss of operation due to fewer control. As a result of the study instrumentation and control was enhanced to avoid potential loss in case of failure/accident encountered.
„« Capacity of the plant I and II, LPG 150 TPD, NGL 6000 BPD, GAS 40 MMSCFD.
„« Developed LPG/NGL Plant operations right from the beginning. Prepared normal and emergency operating procedures for the plant and associated facilities. Later on reviewed the above procedures in the light of experience gained by years of operating LPG/NGL Plant. Prepared start up and shut down procedures to be used during annual turnarounds for safe and smooth start up to minimize downtime.

„« Intermediate higher Secondary from Karachi Board in 1981 in A1 Grade.
„« Matriculation Secondary School from Karachi Board in 1979 in A1 Grade.

„« Attended HYSYS Simulation courses conducted by Canadian specialist.
„« Attended one month refinery process training program in Japan.

„« Worked under pressure at the position of Field Manager who controls the critical field whom product supplies directly effect the important capital city area. Have to deal directly with companies (top management) for maintaining smooth product supply to the gas network and refinery.
„« Responsible to take charge of forward controller in case of emergency at the facility as defined in emergency response plan for the field. Direct and control all activities during handling all type of emergencies at the facility including leakage, fire, spill over at storage, LPG storage fire/emergency, plant operation emergencies.
„« Participation in safety and operations audits by internal teams and also conducted by external consultants. Attended discussions and sessions to review plant data and documents for further process improvements. Also part of team responsible for implementing audit recommendations.
„« Performed additional duties of Site In charge ( Plant Manager) while dealt with different sections and government officials in day to day activities. Including dealing with administrative matters, accounts, purchasing activities, running projects, overall plant technical matters etc. Dealing workforce of about 170 personnel.
