Duty Summary
Handle a shift of 4 Assistant Supervisors, over 70 Liebherr and Cat equipments operators
Handle a section of pit operations and rock waste dumps
Liaise with Modular Mining Fleet Dispatching System for Cat 785C haul trucks assignments to various excavators. (A fleet of 44 haul trucks)
Liaise with the Mineral Resource, Survey, Planning, Maintenance and Dewatering Departments for smooth running of the day Production.
Implements the Mine’s Operational policies in conformity to standards
Carry out other duties as prescribed by the Senior Shift Supervisor and Pit Superintendent
August 2006 – May 2007 Operations Supervisor (Contractor) at African Explosive (GH) Limited, Tarkwa site.
Duty Summary
Daily, Monthly and Yearly Explosive Stock Management.On bench supervision of the delivery of quality explosives to the customer – GGL using between 3 – 4 Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU) simultaneously.
Site supervision of the loading of MMU’s and delivery of between 2 – 3 millions tones of bulk P600 monthly.
Daily supervision of the preventative maintenance and servicing of MMU’s.
Assist in the preparation of monthly customer reports and other site duties
