Professional Experience
Graduated as Mechanical Engineer in 1974, he works in Petrσleos de Venezuela PDVSA in an operational area. Main responsibilities include Process Engineer and Supervisor of the Process plants , expander plants and compressor plants field Production and petrochemical supply for ethane and Propane and Natural Gas getting extensive experience in gas, steam and Ethane Sweeting and processing; and LPG Shipping Terminals.
After more than 20 years working in operations being as a Manager developed the Iso 9000 certification in Bajo grande plant, evaluated the Tablazo II plant , that obliged to change the sweeting processs to UCARSOL because the designed project couldnt met the required spec for the olefin , this change also contribute to reach the production expected by original design
Most of the experience has been focused in the following areas:
Knowledge in process equipment evaluation such as gas and ethane dryers ,condensers , reboliles, heavy oil furnace, flare tip ,gas and liquid transmision for natural gas.
Extensive experience evaluating capacities and capabilities of existing field facilities in order to identify potential bottlenecks and scope for optimization.
Experience in the design and specification of downstream gas, produced lpg and steam facilities with extensive experience in conceptual studies and front end engineering.
Ability to identify potential applications for new technology.
Safety profile, in order to minimize and identify risk on sheduled shutdown and on the normal operation also.
