Professional Experience

Working as a “Financial Analyst” with Al- Khafji Joint Operations (Formerly Arabian Oil Company)
• Prepare and updating accounting policies & procedures in line with the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) for entire Finance & Accounting Department.
• Prepare & designed Business Process Manual with process flow & segregation of duties for ERP - SAP (user manual of SAP) of each section of finance and accounting department
• Prepare and update Control Manual for Fixed assets
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and submit to external auditor and management for approval

• Review and analysis of General Ledger for cost controlling and allocation process and co ordinate with controlling & reporting section for monthly closing process.

• Review, verify and validate HR/FI simulation for monthly payroll, off cycles and correction cycles like leave, medical, loans, bonus and terminations.

• Verify the accruals for severance and special severance benefits in light of Company’s HR policy and accounting requirement. Ensure the smooth flow of activities in multi functional employee’s Provident Fund. Also dealt with Provident Trustees (outside) in settlement of dues.
• Developed standard monthly reporting for senior management enabling them to identify emerging financial trends
• Maintained “KPI” (Key Performance Indicators) record for Finance and Accounts Department using COGNOS system.

• Provide financial analysis of key operating measures permitting Partners to make significant operating decisions

• Review and update contribution statement and current account of partners (Fund movement utilized for joint venture) and submit to governing body (Saudi Aramco and Kuwait Oil Company) for settlement.
• Liaison and interacting with external / internal auditors and compliance with Governing body.
• Resolved queries from partner/s and Governing body for any financial related issue/s
• Periodically, conduct physical verification of fixed assets as member of fixed asset team, resolve the queries with custodian of asset, preparation of physical verification report and follow up with custodian of asset for implementation of suggestion.
