process plant , Producing Vinyl Acetate Monomer by the conversion of
Ethylene, Acetic Acid & Oxygen in gas phase by using the noble metal as
Catalyst .
Vinyl Chemicals is having DCS-FOXBORO and it is a TPM implementing
Company.

Unit Operations & Equipment Involved :

Distillation,Absorption , Stripping , Scrubbing , Fixed Tube Reactor,
Centrifugal & Reciprocating Pumps & Compressors, Cryogenic storage of
Oxygen, Nitrogen & Ethylene.

The Responsibilities Includes

• Operate Distribution control system (DCS).
• Ensure all times safe operation of all equipment and systems in the area of resposnsibility.
• Adjust ,control and optimize plant parameters all the time to maintain production output within the planned target for the quality,quantity and specification,
• Monitor and maintain safer plant and product quality.
• Reports any unsafe,unusual and abnormal condition /parameter in plant to prevent incident or Accident.
• Closely co ordinate with Shift supervisors guidance and instruction and other colleagues in excuting start up ,shutdown and maintainance.
• Handover and takeover equipment from maintainance safely and as per work permit procedure.
• Ensure that safety is being followed in the plant by all people around and inside plant.
• Mainatain logsheets,shift activity log book and other data record
