Professional Experience
Exploration Geophysicist, Petroleum Exploration and Production Department.2007-date. Key note project accomplishments include:
• Worked as part of the team that carried out consultancy services to Neptune Petroleum for the acquisition and field processing of over 1000km of gravity and magnetic data in the Albertine Grabben.
• I was part of the team that did field supervision, monitoring and QC of the acquisition of 3D seismic data by BGP/CNOPEC in Block 2.
• Played key role in leading the team that executed processing and interpretation of 3D data for Kaiso-Tonya area.
• Worked with the reserve estimation team for the Mputa Field in Block-2 of the Ugandan Albertine Basin using PETREL software.
• Participated in the planning of establishment of a national G & G data repository for Uganda. A report on which is to lead to the establishment of a modern data centre at the petroleum Exploration and Production Department.
• I was part of the field tem that monitored/supervised the IMC geophysics team – (particularly in the recording truck) during the shooting of over 500 km of land data in the northern most part of the Albert basin.
