My job responsibilities are to
 Facilitate the implementation of HSE management system
 Promote a safety culture within the workplace ensuring that all levels of employees are aware, accept and understand their responsibilities with regard to HSE issues
 Provide information, advice and support to the employees regarding health, safety and environment practices and procedures
 Carryout safety inspections of work area, work method, employees, machine, materials and other tools
 Monitor the incident reporting system and encourages the employees to report any incident, accident and near miss
 Ensure that all employees are aware of the duty to report all incidents, accidents and near miss
 Conduct training and ensure training is conducted in accordance with the identified hazards via carried out risk assessments
 Assist safety audits and inspection of facilities to ensure a safe working environment
 Respond to inquiries or complaints from employees
 Identify safety improvement opportunities and effectively presenting conclusions to bring about the suggested changes
 Assist in conducting investigation of all accidents and recommend appropriate measures
 Advice and coordinate for implementation of work permit system
 Plan procurement of PPE and other safety devices and inspection before use
 Ensure that PPE complies with the safety procedure
 Report to higher management on all matters pertaining to status of safety and promotional program to motivate employees

BE in Petroleum Engineering form University Of Engineering And Technology Lahore, Pakistan securing grade “A”

OSHA’s 40 hours general industry training certificate according to American standards

 Sound working knowledge of principles and practices, concepts and theories related to HSE preferably OHSAS 18001
 Conduct on-site trainings
 Good knowledge of fire systems, equipments, maintenance and testing
 Proficient in assisting PTW, accident investigation and root cause analysis
 Good understanding of HSE management system and emergency response plans
 Good knowledge of compressed gas cylinder safety, H2S awareness program, machine guarding, PPE, slip, trips and fall, HAZCOM, confined space entry, walking and working surfaces, noise control and prevention, safe work permits, lifting with cranes, handling of flammable and combustible liquids, lock out/tag out system, material handling, egress and fire protection, exit routes and fire prevention plans
 Also have good knowledge of Hazops (Hazard and Operability studies), Hazids (Hazard Identification studies), QRA’s (Quantified Risk Assessments) and SIL
