Buoyed by the experience of working in the Middle East, I am an experienced contract manager, seeking a new role managing oil and gas contracts internationally.

BP GUPCO, Cairo Sub-Contract Administrator May 2008 – Feb 2009

Responsible for:
• Project Manager for implementing staff facilities at an Egyptian oil and gas supply site requiring review of requirements, appointing suppliers, writing and implementing contractual agreements.
• Review of financial systems and introduced new invoicing processes and financial controls within GUPCO to improve internal management and speed of payment.
• Partnered HSEE in Construction Compliance for oil and gas platforms within the Middle East
• Contract Manager for a portfolio of 20 contracts ranging from (but not limited to) scaffolding provision, HR, ordnance analysis, catering, rescue appliances and shipping.

Achievements:
A substantial personal achievement from this role was the experience of working in the Middle East and achieving the above projects under the challenging environment.

Challenge Energy, Guildford Consultant Nov 2007 – Feb 2008

Responsible for:
• Completed several country and economic profiling reviews for LNG plants including detailed feasibility studies for condensate platforms and reporting results

Achievements:
This was a short-term contract position providing detailed knowledge on oil and gas operations in various countries like Algeria, Libya, Nigeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt.

Responsible for:
• Managed existing portfolio of contracts for 5 renewable energy projects (re-writing where appropriate)
• Chartering vessels (CIF/FOB)
• Monitoring and enforcing contractual obligations for ongoing projects
