AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
In this post of ELECTRICIAN AND INSTRIMENTATION TECHNICAL we are responsible for the following:
-the maintenance, repair and certification of all electrical and measure equipment and machinery on the FPSO. This includes the administration of the computerised Maintenance Management System
- The planning of all maintenance routines, repairs, surveys, certification and classification requirements.
- The safe and efficient operation of the Technical Department.

- When the FPSO is not moored at a production location the position reverts to that of Chief GROUP OF CONTRACTORS with its associated responsibilities.
During the Design, conversion and Construction Phases, The main responsibilities in these phases are to:
1. Ensure operational and maintenance requirements are taken into account in the Detailed Design.
2. Participate in the preparation of the various operating manuals, such as Operating Procedures, Work Permit System, Safety Management System, and Emergency Procedures.
3. Participate in the preparation of the Computerized Maintenance Management Program.
4. Participate in the preparation of the Safety Case.
5. Participate in the Commissioning of the systems.
6. Take any courses or training that is considered necessary for the operation.
7. Commence training the staff who report to him.
