Continually search for spills on floor or work stands. If found, remove spills immediately.
During walkarounds, correct all employees working in hangar/shop areas who are not wearing safety eyewear.
Ensure aircraft is properly grounded, as required. Seek out potential fall hazards - open unguarded doors on aircraft, missing handrails on stands and platforms, etc. - and ensure required fall protection devices are in place.
Search for areas where ladders are being used and correct any unsafe use or condition. Seek out areas in aircraft cabins with floorboards in unsafe condition and take corrective action immediately.
Look for GSE equipment in operation. Ensure "Spotters" are being used, as required. Ensure that chocks, brakes and cylinder locks are in use on all stands. Check for employees not wearing proper protective equipment/gear/clothing.
