Sr. Safety/HSE Engineer /Coordinator

Presently working as Area EHS Coordinator of Qatar Area operation of L&T. Coordinating the 3 ongoing construction projects including the prestigious Qatar Shell Pearl GTL project (The World’s Largest LNG Plant) and maintenance projects in Hydrocarbon industries (Ras Laffan) area in Qatar.

Main Duty Areas:
• Preparing EHS plan for the projects.
• Hazard Identification Assessment and control for all Qatar area projects (QRA).
• Preparing Environment Impact Assessment.
• Preparing emergency response plan.
• Co-coordinating for preparation of HAZID,HAZOP, HAZAN, FMEA, SIL.
• Presenting the HSSE status in front of Project Management team as well as clients/customers.
• Advise and suggest the cost effective and practically possible solution to management to maintain the HSSE standards in projects.
• Coordinating EHS Issues in Flaw Less Start Up (FSI).
• Resource planning of EHS Dept.
• Site Inspection as per project EHS Inspection schedule.
• Coordination with client and consultant and assisting to site EHS engineers.
• Assessing the need for training and developing and organizing & Coducting EHS training to middle level management and lower level management.
• Make every one responsible for maintaining Incident and Injury- Free environment at work.
• Facilitating the emergency mock drills at site (Major Emergency and Crisis Managemant).
• Creating awareness in employees for Industrial Hygiene and Food Nutrition for good health.

Management of subordinates:

• Reporting of 05 Motivated Site HSSE Engineer/Advisors and 12 Site HSSE Supervisors.
• Preparing KPI for individual project sites/ Locations and making sub ordinates responsible for achieving the same.
• Develop sub ordinates by helping them to achieve professional H&S management training and at a glance to maintain the bond of HSSE Department to achieve common goal
