Setting priorities for environmental programs and projects that require the participation of civil society through NGOs.
Development of plans and programs for the protection of the environment through partnership with government agencies and civil society organizations to follow the style and the principles of participation and good governance in order to activate the role of civil society organizations in the protection of the environment.
Preparation of criteria for the selection of priority projects, sectoral and geographical.
Development of indicators to measure the success of projects implemented in the achievement of planned targets in line with the policies of environmental action at the national level.
Permanent and continuous coordination with the Environmental Protection Fund and other donors for financial support of the associations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Coordination with national and international funding to provide for the revitalization of the role of the Department and NGOs.
Coordination with the various parties concerned within the Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs and outside with regard to support and stimulate private environmental initiatives, both governmental, private sector or donors.
Setting a databases and information systems for NGOs and their activities and the activities of the General department of the NGOs.
Designing and organizing of public awareness campaigns with NGOs.
Provide material support and technical support to environmental NGOs through existing mechanisms, in coordination with the relevant parties.
Building the capacity of NGOs and support systems GOVERNORATES through existing mechanisms, in coordination with the relevant parties.
Assistance in the exchange of experiences between NGOs at the national level and international levels.
Documenting the experiences and disseminate the best practices for dissemination to take advantage of them through periodic seminars and conferences.
