DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with management to implement QA/HSE goals, priorities, and key performance measures for division.
Develop and/or approve HSE program descriptions which specify the local procedures and methods that are used to assure conformance with regulations, best practices.
Ensures audit program supports customer and regulatory requirements for QA, health, safety, and environmental programs. In addition, audit program must adherence to Company established policies, processes, and procedures.
Coordinates and conducts site-based QA, safety, and emergency response readiness training and exercise activities.
Works with Field Superintendents on training issues, plans, and budgets; ensures use of the industry highest standards.
Maintains knowledge of and complies with applicable international regulations; ensures all QA/HSE policies, programs, and activities comply.
Provision of oversight, guidance, and leadership to field QA/HSE Engineers.
Must understand, interpret, and implement applicable regulations within divisional regulatory jurisdiction.
To ensure the required HSE performance is introduced and maintained to International Standards in the company's Field operations.
To ensure HSE equipment is suitable for purpose and maintained in condition of readiness.
To lead the Emergency Response Team.
To ensure the required levels of HSE Training to International Standards is delivered to Site personnel.
To ensure all accidents and incidents are recorded and investigated according to their potential.
To track and corrective and improvement actions in the Field operations.
To bring to the attention of the HSE Manager any HSE improvements and requirements and suggestions.
To manage and develop HSE personnel on site.
