Personal Statement.

Making my department run as efeciantly as possible

I started logistics/Purchasing work at the Sultan’s Special Force in January 1996. I am hard working and dedicated to making the department run as efficiently as possible. I have had the opportunity to do many different types of tasks in my work. I have worked in the Purchasing department, conducted market research and have had to deal with a range of accounting practice. I have a very good experience in evaluating Quotations/Purchase enquiries, raising purchase orders/Contacts. I have carried out correspondences with suppliers. I have full experience on how to use my budget votes with good spending control of my money balance. I have received demands and processed them.

Furthermore I have been in charge of the cargo cell where I worked with the air and sea port authorities. I have similarly dealt with the transport of goods through the national border. In the course of all these operations I have dealt with military sensitive goods and worked out systematic procedures to hold them in safety and in accordance with the statutory regulations.

In August 2001 I was transferred to warehouse management where I worked as the Regimental Quarter-Master (the stores manager) and have overall responsibility for a range of procedures and items such as: Corresponded with all kinds of users to verify their needs,
Prioritising demands and where to place what and when, rising demands of the needed items, controlling stock of various items, and assessing items quality. I was the vice presidant of the regimental contacting team

Then in August 2007 I started working for Integrated Petroleum Services Company as the Warehouse Officer. Where I successfully developed the warehouse, created an inventory system with the help of a programmer, handled petty cash and improved the warehouse services and tasks. Helped the company to become confidant on the warehouse and the supplies. (There was no proper warehouse before me)

Personal Statement.
I am a graduate of the Royal Guard of Oman College of Technology, graduated 1994/95. With B-Tec first Diploma in Engineering. I speak and write English fluently and I am a very good communicator. I am a capable and confident computer user and do not envisage any problems with my goal of achieving good work results.
