Current status:
ƒÞ I have been associated with KPMG Pakistan since January 2004 and completed mandatory training period as prescribed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
ƒÞ Currently working as an Assistant Manager, Audit and Assurance department.
ƒÞ My audit experience with KPMG in different geographic segments of the world has enabled me to gain experience of practical implementation and complexities of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (while working for KPMG Canada) and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:
ƒÞ Assist the engagement partner in the development of the expected scope and conduct of the audit;
ƒÞ Review and approve planned activities prior to the start of significant filed work;
ƒÞ Monitor the progress of the engagement against expectations (progress and completion dates and budget) and keep the engagement partner informed of significant variances;
ƒÞ Review engagement working papers;
ƒÞ Advisory services to the clients on various accounting, corporate and financial issues;
ƒÞ Ensuring compliance with the IFRSs, IAS, ISA, GAAP, local statutes and best practices.
