Description HR Main Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Ensure an up to date knowledge of all related CRS global policies and procedures regarding , Finance, Security and Personnel
• Ensure timely updating of manuals as needed and as appropriate; ensure all sub-office personnel are continuously aware of policies and procedures and those they are being effectively implemented.
• Ensure timely implementation and adherence to audit recommendations.
• Ensure all program support activities are in compliance with CRS’ visionary directions and with its principles of justice, solidarity, and subsidiary and gender equality.
• Other activities as needed to ensure that the sub-office is managed in a an effective, transparent and professional manner
• Work closely with the HR/Administration Manager to ensure timely and effective recruitment of qualified candidates, according to CRS policies and procedures.
• Facilitate the entire recruitment process, including; preparation of vacancy announcements, initial screening of CVs, contacting short-listed candidates for testing and interviews, conducting tests and interviews, informing successful candidates after final short-listing, vetting of new hires through Bridger software, preparation of job offer letters, completion of all HR related forms for new hires within the first month of their joining, and orientation for new staff.
• Maintain a database of employment examinations and
interviews.
• Prepare all personnel and administrative correspondence (job offer letters, employment contracts, promotions, transfers, retirements, resignations, etc
• Prepare monthly payroll; ensure timesheets are received
in a timely manner, kept in personnel records, and
forwarded to Finance for effort reporting.
• Ensure that personnel files for all staff are actively
maintained, up-to-date, and in accordance with CRS
personnel policies.
• Ensure the annual renewal of Group Life, Medical, and
Accidental insurance. Regularly update list of CRS staff
and their dependents.
