Professional Experience
I am a South African citizen with 30+ years experience in technical disciplines of:
Petrochemical Construction, Analytical Process Instrumentation, Electronics, Telecommunications.
Have worked on a variety of EPCM projects for major clients, from grassroots plant projects to major refinery and expansion projects, I have experience in Construction and Project Coordination, Construction and Project Management.
Familiarity with latest construction methods, project management techniques, and environmental engineering aspects. Specific knowledge in co-ordinating contract packages, constructability review, Site Plan management and tracking construction progress.
Good understanding of the safety requirements applicable to large construction sites and in particular working in areas close to existing operations involving HC’s and constraints resulting from simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
Currently I am employed as Senior project Engineer on the Fluor PMC team for the Shah Gas Development Project in Abu Dhabi. Samsung Engineering is the MC for work pack 4 and Saipem for work packs 2, 3. Value is around USD5Bn
