Was based in Sudan Darfur region working for PAE Lockheed Martin plc company as camp manager in support of the African mission Sudan {AMIS}under USG contract and UNAMID Capable of managing the transport system/pool for a large organisation.

My work as camp services manager included:

Logistics and preparation of consumables weekly usage reports, procurement of camp requirements, receiving and identifying supplied goods if they met the specifications as requested when the material request & services procurement form was issued.
Warehousing of received stocks and keeping count & indexing of stocks for easy retrieval and issuing to end user.
Able to use various technical manuals and be willing to assist in researching for service and repair parts of different electrical and mechanical equipment such as vehicle/generator parts, water & grinding pumps, tent support structures, plumbing materials tools, pipes e.t.c and other materials.

Supervising of Servicing/repairing of water treatment plants {RO units} and black/grey water disposal facilities.
The logistics part also included fuel storage and issuing to officers/troops, summarise fuel issued and write monthly/weekly reports indicating spillage, usage, and opening/closing balances of diesel. Maintenance of fuel storage bladders and pumping equipment.

Performance of inventory of consumable stocks, fast running parts and manage the use of all workshop equipment & ensure it is used correctly and accounted for at all times.
Planning of maintenance schedules for equipment and record keeping of maintenance history field reports and delegate or assign work to subordinates.






As lead mechanic the following were my responsibilities: the maintenance of vehicles/equipment these include light vehicle, heavy earthmoving caterpillars, Jcb`s, forklifts and other stationary items e.g. compressors & generators.

• Maintenance of power generation units for the location including breakdowns and PMs including testing and repairing minor electrical faults, replacement of fuse, batteries, starter motors, {electronic oil pressure sensors ,temperature & air intake sensors} and alternators on generators at all times regardless of the situation because of the nature of the region which has no power grids. The 100% operation of the power units was top priority. Types of units includes FG Wilson units Perkins engines, rated power 150 kva, 250 kva,400kva and 2800 series 500 kva.
Ensure that all radio communication equipment on vehicles are in good working order and that Unamid/au troops are conversant with how to use the radio equipment.

field coordinator. My job encompasses servicing of equipments and field support in relation to supplied/leased mobile equipment and stationary, electrical and mechanical parts.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications before releasing for operations. These equipment include 4 X 4 light vehicles for the car hire, and heavy tipper trucks,cat equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment for example Maintenance of power generating units 50kva,10kva engines including oil change & scheduling oil sampling tests.
