I worked with the agency for twelve months as part of the mandatory national service for graduates.

Responsibilities:
• Was part of the team responsible for the survey of proposed construction sites.
• Participated in the modifications, repairs and maintenance of existing facilities and pipe works.
• Participated in the monitoring of on-going projects to ensure compliance with schedule.


Jan.2002 - May. 2002: Suffolk Petroleum Services Limited.Nigeria.

Internship. Piping Department.
Suffolk Petroleum provides consultancy, engineering and construction services to the oil and gas industry.

I did five months internship with the Piping department.

Responsibilities:
• Reading and interpretation of process and piping layout engineering drawings.
• Preparing material take-off.
• Preparing daily welding reports for shop fabrication activities.
• Participated in the on-site pressure testing of fabricated spools.

• Adanga Riser platform topside piping modification for tie-in of 14” production pipeline from Oron platform, Offshore Nigeria.
• Topside piping modifications of Ebughu and Adanga south west platforms for new wells hook-up and gas lift system, Offshore Nigeria.
• Modification of Akam production platform piping systems for decommissioning and installation of pipeline pumps, Offshore Nigeria.
• Upgrade of production and gas lift facilities at Ossu and Izombe fields , Onshore Nigeria.
