• Obtain all relevant documentation or ensure access to it, like relevant specification, procedure, and welder test certificates, drawings.
• Ensure welder Qualification before welding.
• Ensure correct materials, consumables, equipments & correct preheat.
• Assess/measure fit-up like root face, bevel angle, root gap, alignment, joint cleanness.
• Ensure no under stress is applied to the joint & correct environment.
• Check amperage, voltage, and polarity.
• Ensure adequate cleaning between passes, interpass temp.
• Ensure weld is post cleaned, visual inspection of weld defects.
• Inspect post heat treatment & check NDT reports.

 Inspection of prefabricated spools received from DESCON Abu Dhabi manufacturing unit as per Isometric; P&ID and project specification (LS 145-10&LS145-20) also errection Inspection as per procedure for Piping Fabrication & Installation as well as inspection and Testing plan for fabrication and Installation of piping for ELIXIER joint venture of GASCO & LINDE.
 Visual Inspection of fit up & welding as well as punch listing of Test Pack and witness hydro testing with LINDE QA/QC Inspector/Engineers.
