Professional Experience
I am an engineer and a mathematician at once. As a mathematician I am familiar with optimization problems of industrial engineering and computer science, that is in the field of Operations Research. I am thinking of solving optimization problems posed by general engineering, that is Optimal Control or/and Optimal Design. I am keen also on Reliability Engineering and Risk Analysis since mathematicians love Probability Theory & Statistics. As an engineer, I major in naval architecture. Offshore engineering and sea transportation are of my interest as well.
Eductation
In 2000 I graduated from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology in Surabaya (Indonesia), majoring in naval architecture & shipbuilding. In 2006 I graduated from Chemnitz University of Technology in Chemnitz (Germany), majoring in applied mathematics with specialization of mathematical Optimization and Operations Research
Certification
Three months of internships on ship repair, ship's new building, and ship's clasification. Six months of internship at Indonesian Hydrodynamics Laboratory.
Additional Information
After graduation in 2006, there were two companies in Germany offering me a trainee position with salary, namely Center of Maritime Technologies (www.cmt-net.org) and Airplan-Engineering Services (www.airplan-engineering.de), yet as I am a foreigner, there were quarrels between these German companies and German foreign office over my work permit while I was doing nothing for
two years in Germany. Unfortunately, it cannot be issued until now.
