• I am employed as Rig Electrician performing maintenance, and urgent maintenance to the rig - Also rigging down and up to move location. When needed I assist with all workshop and plant electrical work.
• Using JHA and PTW systems

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT: WELLS INSTRUMENTATION & ELECTRICAL

• I was employed for offshore work off the coast of Taranaki NZ. I worked on the Maari Oil Field as part of a team constructing, commissioning and performing maintenance on the Wellhead Platform. I also became familiar with the FPSO Raroa and Drilling rig Ensco 107.

• Employed between March 2007-May 2008 as the afternoon shift Maintenance Electrician to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on all plant and machinery. When required our electrical team would be solely involved in upgrading, relocating and de-mobilizing machinery etc.

• Maintaining and faultfinding 24-110-240-400-460VAC/DC control and power circuits
• AC/DC variable speed drives – installation and faultfinding
• Replacing processor, SCR’S and SCR firing boards where required
• Installing, upgrading and faultfinding of Automated control systems, Allen Bradley – Siemens PLC’s
• Upgrading and maintaining Relay logic control systems

• Retrieving trapped passengers safely
