Career Objective
mud is the fluid used in-hole to drill a well.it inhibit shales in-hole,bring them out through shale shaker for the drill string not to stuck.formulate demulsifiers through bottle testing and field trial,select best water clarifier and inhibitors.
Professional Experience
worked both locally in nigeria and in cameroon,gabon and libya as a consultant lead mud engineer to drill so many wells using water base mud to spud the well and displacing to synthetic oil base mud(sobm)in the 121/4"and 81/2"hole section to inhibit the shales.also worked as mud supervisor to design mud programme and run the mud.on production specialty chemical experience,i have conducted bottle tests and field trials for several major operator oil and gas companies such as shell,exxonmobil,chevrontexaco,total,agip etc and after getting the business,tried as much as possible to maintain the account by paying technical visits to the oilfields to educate the production operators on how to monitor the injection rates and making sure the chemical injection pumps are working and the chemical is entering the low pressure or high pressure separators as the case may be.
Eductation
i have a bachelor of engineering degree(b.eng.)in chemical engineering from the university of portharcourt in 1985 and my grade was second class honours upper division.
Certification
successfully completed a course in oilfield chemicals technology including the subjects of:water treatment,corrosion control,demulsification,bacteria control,oil and gas production operation in aberdeen scotland and middlesbrough,england from january 1989-may 1989.also attended mud engineering training school in milpark now baker drilling fluids in houston texas,in the united states from january,1990-31st march,1990.
