The scope of my work in Dewan Farooque Motors Limited covered the Procurement & Localization of the Automotive Components through local vendor in order to meet the Localization Targets. There, I carried out following responsibilities.

• Preparation of Localization Plan in comparison with Tariff Based System (TBS).

• Arrangement of Sample parts, Technical specifications and Part Drawings from Principal (HMC).

• Selection of vendors for the development of Automotive Components.

• In-House cost estimation of parts for price finalization.

• Arranging price negotiation meeting with local vendor.

• Issuance of Purchase Order and Development Start Advice (DSA) after price finalization.

• Price revision and re-issuance of Purchase order after the supply of Amortized quantity or increase in price of raw material.

Got on – job Training of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP, which is the latest Boom in the contemporary Information Technology age. Worked as an End – user after completion of training, and carried out the following responsibilities.

• Transfer of previous planning database in Excel and Access format in SAP database.

• Compilation of Automotive components and their part codes in SAP database.

• Compilation of vendor’s information in SAP database.

• Generation of RFQs(Request for Quotation) through SAP system, to be issued to vendors.

• Generation of Purchase Orders through SAP system, to be issued to vendors.
