1st June 2012 todate Fuel operators in Afghanistan with Dyncorp international
Duties include:
- Carrying out hot and cold refueling of military helicopters including Apache,Osprey,cobra,Hue,C17, Super stallion etc.
- Filling of 3643 forms during issue of fuels.
- Quality checks of fuels to ensure conformance, test include Aqua glo test and API.
- Transferring fuels from one bag to another in bulk fuel installation area (BFI).
- Recirculation of fuels to ensure all contaminants is arrested by the fuel water separators.
- Taking the gauges every day before close of business to determine quantity remaining in the bag.
- Conduct laboratory test to ensure product is free from contaminations.
-Uploading and downloading of fuels to and from the fuel trucks.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance of pipes, fuel pump and valves.
- Daily morning inspection of the pipes and gate valves to ensure no leakage or damage to the pipes and bags.
- Cleaning of spill kits every morning to remove water, particles and dust.
- Daily inspection of fire extinguishers and emergency water showers to ensure they are working.
