Professional Experience
Candidate has 23 years of engineering and management experience in project planning, design and construction. Candidate started his professional career as an engineer assistant in a 250 employee construction materials testing laboratory. Upon receiving his license as a professional engineer (Texas PE#71162), candidate transitioned to the environmental arena where he assumed increasingly responsible assignments in construction permitting, EIS/EISA, design and construction management. As a consulting engineer, he has managed environmental compliance for large construction projects as well as for operational facilities including refineries, thermoelectric, pulp/paper and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants. Candidate has also served as office manager for a mid-sized transportation engineering firm (RS&H, Austin, Texas), where he was accountable for personnel management, design production, strategic planning and business development. In his current assignment as HSE Environmental Manager for the Yemen LNG project, Candidate has hygiene and safety responsibilities in addition to his primary responsibility as environmental lead.
