At Dodsal, I was involved in the procurement activities for 2 Major Projects, namely:

· Ras Laffan Common Cooling Water System Project for Qatar Petroleum – QP (USD1 Billion EPCC Project)

· Replacement of NGL Pipelines Network Project for Abu Dhabi Gas Industries – GASCO (USD 250 Million EPIC Project)

Mechanical Contracting & Services (MCSC), Bahrain - One of the leading contractors in the Bahrain engaged in construction of high pressure crude & gas pipelines, refinery and petrochemical construction works.

October 2005 to February 2007.
Designation: Engineer (Procurement & Sub-Contracts)

I was involved in the Procurement & Sub-Contracting activities for the LSDP Project alongside JGC, Japan; who was the EPC Contractor for the Project,

· Low Sulphur Diesel Production Project for Bahrain Petroleum Company – BAPCO (USD 500 Million EPIC Project)

KOSO Fluid Controls Pte Ltd, India - A wholly owned subsidiary of Nihon Koso Co., Japan; engaged in production, marketing and field service of diversified equipment in the field of instrumentation with focus on automated industrial valves catering to the needs of refineries, power plants, petrochemical industries & other process industries.

December 2001 to September 2005.

At KOSO, I was involved in the sourcing of materials for various domestic and international projects executed by our Japanese principals worldwide.

· Pursuing MBA (Operations) through Distance Education Program.

· Global sourcing and supply course conducted at Nihon KOSO, Japan

· Development of Parts Codes for Product Identification at KOSO Fluid Controls and supported the IT Dept. for customisation of ERP system.

· Handled Procurement Packages with Single Purchase Order Value up to 18 Million Euros for Qatar Petroleum Project.

· Supported the Estimation and Proposals Dept during the bidding process for 1500 MW Power Plant for DEWA, Dubai and SAS Oil Field Development Project for ADCO, Abu Dhabi.

Overseas Assignments

· Worked with M/s Nihon KOSO, Japan for 3 months in their process equipments division.

· Attending Kick-off meetings / Pre-production meetings and carried out expediting trips at vendor facilities in Europe for 2/3 months based in Germany.
