Petroleum engineer _ HSSE

To lead as a safety professional in field of oil and gas while working in a challenging environment and availing opportunities to learn

Working with Gujarat Gas Company Limited (a British Gas Group company) as a Sr. Engineer (HSSE & tech.trng), since 16 /06/2008 to till date.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze and present key HSSE performance indicators (TRCF,LTI..) to top management
• Compile and produce various reports like :-
-GHG Emission Reduction report
-GHG Emission report
-Hazardous waste production report
-Board Report
• Carry out graphical analysis of Hazards & Near misses
• Regular reporting of HSSE performance reports to British Gas (BGA) ,U.K
• Conduct periodic Work Place Inspections at various work sites to ensure adherence to safe work culture and address key findings to mitigate root cause
• Assist in Incident Investigation/Root Cause Analysis
• Preparation and circulation of Lesson Learned Bulletin’s (LLB’s) and monitoring of action close out
• Involvement in organizing and conducting HSSE related activities
• BG HSSE standards effectiveness check & gap analysis
• Monitor HSSE improvement plans

Have done B.tech in petroleum engineering with specialisation in gas stream.
Course covered entire oil and gas spectrum,begining right from surveying-exploration-drilling-production-transmission & distribution of oil and gas.

6 months diploma in Fire & Safety Management

• DNV certified Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2008
• Defensive driving training course by “Hubert & Ebner”
• Trained "Behavior Based Safety" observer
• In house training on "Safety Intervention"
• Practical training on "Confined Space Entry"
