I am having five years professional experience in chemical industry which includes professional experience in the field of process safety projects, debottlenecking projects, detail engineering and process design, and process simulation with HYSYS.
Skills: 1. Modeling and simulation of refinery plants with HYSYS.
2. Dynamic simulation with HYSYS (UNISIM).
3. Design and rating of Relief devices, safety valves with PPM (Pressure Protection Manager) as per API standards.
4. Design and rating of shell and tube heat exchangers with HTRI and B-JACK.
5. Ability to perform complete mass and energy balance.
6. Hydraulics study which include line sizing, pump head and pressure calculations.
7. Process Equipment design of shell and tube heat exchangers, absorbers etc.

I worked as a Team Leader to execute following Process Safety Projects in collaboration with Siemens (O&G), Houston, USA:
I successfully carried out Process Safety Projects working as a team leader of a group of 6 engineers.
1. Oxy Poly Vinyls (O-PVC), Deer Park, Texas, USA.
2. Ultrafiner for Marathon refinery, USA.
3. ARU and SRU for ConocoPhillips refinery, USA.
The activities involved in sizing and rating of safety valves are:
• Incorporating vessel dimensions and parameters in PPM (Pressure Protection Manager).
• Identifying applicable scenarios.
• Preparing HYSYS simulation for normal process condition. Simulating columns at relieving pressure.
• Calculating required relief rates for all the applicable scenarios.

Suceessfully carried out two debottlenecking refinery projects.
• Debottlenecking of DHT (Diesel hydro treater) plant for Valero Refinery.
• Debottlenecking of DHDS (Diesel hydro desulphurization) plant for Valero refinery.
