Project Engineer

A position in Project Management effectively utilizing my 14 years of professional experience in leading team in fast paced, result-oriented environment to achieve overall corporate and project objectives in construcion jobs

•Prepare and maintain Master material control for all scope of works (Piping, WeldingResponsible for erection of piping, equipment, structural steel etc.,Painting, Insulation & equipment)
•Designing and administering a complete database capable of tracking all piping materials, spools, welds, supports, status, tests, and reporting production and progress.
•Verifies that materials, manufactured goods, machinery, equipment, etc supplied to the job site are in line with projects specification and granted approvals.
•Plan, review, and coordinate design and construction operations to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications
•Ensures that the mechanical drawings are in line and coordinated with other discipline design drawings of the project prior proceeding with work and to highlight any discrepancies for necessary corrections
•Project Purchase for the consumables and construction materials.
•Arrangement of requisite tools and equipments required for the execution of work.
•Monitor, verify & document the work being performed through subordinates and ensure accurate and timely installations.
•Provide technical assistance to the construction team as needed.
•Engineering coordinator comprising of liaison with client, subcontractor, vendors & interdepartmental.
•Receive/action Request for Information (RFI) that apply to mechanical works. RFI’s requiring design feedback will be directed to the Designer for response. Review the responses for adequacy.
•Decide day-to-day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including: scheduling of activities, assigning tasks to individuals, accuracy of work conducted and dealing with operational issues and problems.
•Evaluate change orders
•Assist and provides necessary data/information required for the Preparation of reports (includes labour and supervision, plant and equipment, status, site progress, amendments, delays, etc.) for submission to Client.
•Ensure that “AS BUILT” information is supplied to Engineering Department in a timely manner
•Completion of punch list & ensure that all construction & commissioning activities are completed & accepted.
•Review IF C drawings to expedite resolution of missing information & identify erectable steel availability.
•Preparation of Lift Plans.
•To maintain and enforce a safe working environment.

Graduated as Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Karnataka University, India.

1) Worked as Mechanical Superintend for AGD-II Gas Plant and Effluent Treatment Plant
2) Worked as Project Engineer for Diesel Hydrotreatment Plant, Heat Recover Steam Generation & for Construcion support services.
3) Worked as QA/QC engineer for Duba Bult plant & LPG loading Loading facility
4) Worked as QS for Abqaiq Co-Generation Project
5) Worked as Site engineer for Construcion support services
