MAINTENANCE

· Maintenance of Transformer, Weekly checking such as checking of any oil leakage’s, oil level, condition of silica gel. Half yearly checking of BDV value of oil , chemical analysis and dissolve gas analysis, taking corrective action if required like as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Effective Analysis, Risk Assessment, Safety Awareness, Modification, Preventive And Predictive Maintenance etc.

· Motors - Preparing greasing schedule & checklist such as motor log sheet/history sheet. And done greasing.

· · Half Yearly Checking of earth pit resistance & taking corrective action if needed.

·

· Maintenance and commissioning of Ni-Cd Batteries, Lead Acid Batteries & Battery Charger.

· Maintenance of ABB makes Generator as per level 3 (31.25 MVA).



· Maintenance of Cathodic Protection System & Fire Alarm System.

· COMMISSIONING

· (a) Commissioning of motor's - laying power and control cables -checking of insulation, resistance, inductance and rotor condition of motors -Dry out - check test on motors and associated equipment's- trial run on no load and loads - termination of control and power cables.

(b) Experiences as a commissioning team member of motor control center, auxiliary supply panels and switchgear panels.

Participates in the diagnosis and repair of major Equipments faults and breakdowns,
Complies the field data for further technical evaluation.

Maintenance of cable by fault finding equipment and fault-finding techniques.

OPERATION

· Parallel operation of Generators (25MW) and operation's of diesel generator sets up to 2 .0 MVA and all kind of operations in substations.

·Play Key role in fault finding and doing Root Cause Analysis


TESTING & SETTING

· A hand on testing and setting of protective relays and auxiliary relays. Such as GE Alsthom and Siemens make. Involved in commissioning tests and routine tests of electrical equipment’s such as Motors, transformers etc: -
