General process and project engineering work;
• project management,
• project engineering; material requisitions, Hazop studies, SmartPlant model reviews, and project co-ordination,
• process engineering;
• Computer Simulation of equipment and processes with HYSYS, HTRI, Acol+, etc.,
• development of flow sheets and P&ID's,
• equipment and instrument data sheets,
• heat and material balances,
• commissioning of plants,
• troubleshooting,
• liaison with process licensors, engineering contractors, suppliers or clients.
EMPLOYERS
I worked for Fluor and Foster Wheeler (FWSA) in South Africa as a senior process engineer. At FWSA I also worked as Senior Project Engineer. At both Fluor and FWSA I worked on refinery projects (Natref, Sasol, Genref (the old Mobil refinery, now Petronas))
I worked for Chevron in Cabinda as a Facilities Engineer responsible for small capital projects, NGL Plant optimisation (using HYSYS, etc.) and Operations support.
