Objectives: Responsible Senior Instrumentation and Control Systems Specialist position involving Design Development, and Implementation of Instrumentation and Control Systems from conceptual design to commissioning.

Special Skills:

• Over 36 years of Project Design, Procurement, Implementation, Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance experience in the field of instrumentation and control systems used in the oil and gas industries.

• Feed phase and detailed design experience including: sizing and selection of in-line instruments, automatic generation of instrument specification sheets and instrument index using “Intools” software, generation of marshaling panels and junction boxes wiring diagrams, control panels power supply sizing, cable schedule, instrument loop diagrams, installation details, logic diagrams and construction work packages.

• Preparation of Technical Specifications, Purchase Orders, Technical Bid Evaluation for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Fire & Gas Detection Systems, Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Gas Compressors Control Systems, Burner Management Systems (BMS), Local Control Panels, and SMART Electronic Transmitters. Review and approve Vendor’s Documents, Input to P & IDs.

• Construction experience included: Provide engineering support, supervision of Construction Contractors and monitoring the quality of job execution. Inspect delivered instrument and order new equipments. Supervise control panels power up and loop checking. Witness Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of Control Systems. Plant Pre-commission support. “As Built” drawings and data sheets.

• Maintenance work included: provide diagnostics, calibration, configuration and troubleshooting for a wide range of instrumentation and regulatory control systems including: Gas turbine/motor driven crude oil pumps and gas compressor, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), flame & gas detection systems, emergency shutdown systems (ESD), compressors anitsurge & performance control systems, gas & liquid analyzers, re-boilers control systems, emergency shutdown valves including AOV’s, MOV’s, GOV’s, SOV’s, addressable smoke & fire detection systems and wide variety SMART transmitters. Planning major shutdown activities ensuring availability of spare parts.
