Professional Experience
December 2007-now Medic on DP3 pipelaying barge Jascon-30, Seatrucks group
Duties:
• Emergency & Non-Emergency medical care to the crew, client staff and its subcontractors on board (up to 274 persons),
• health advice & health promotions
• maintenance good standards of the hospital work
• weekly inspection of water quality (pH, hardness-total and EC/TDS, chlorine, E. coli and coli forms) and reporting to Master, client and chief engineer
• daily inspection of the galley, the mess room and the coffee shop etc
• daily inspection of the dry store and the freezers
• weekly inspection of food-handlers and checking their medical screening forms on their arrival
• weekly hygiene and sanitary inspection of living premises with Master, the camp boss and the client and following report to Master, client, chief engineer, HSE officer
• preparation for the Medical Audit
• participating in safety meetings with heads of departments and all crew
• medical team leader
• periodically stretcher, 1st aid, BLS and CPR trainings (with HSE officer)
• maintenance working condition of all 1st aid boxes and eye’s wash stations
• making requisitions according to needs
• cooperation with colleagues from FPSO’s and Total medical auditor
• radio medical advising, MedEvac/CasEvac
