WORK EXPERIENCE:

ESSAR OIL Ltd., JAMNAGAR (VADINAR) August 2007 Onwards

I joined Essar Oil Limited (Refinery Division) as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in August-2007 and now working as a Deputy Manager.


JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

1) At Operation and Maintenance Department of Refinery:

Designation: Assistant Manager (Electrical Operation and Maintenance)
Reporting to: Senior Manager

* Maintenance & trouble shooting of 33/6.6 KV Power and 6.6KV/415V distribution & lighting transformers.
* Preventive Maintenance of Electrical Equipments which includes
* H.T/L.T Motors, Breakers and panels of different makes, D.G. set, EOT Crane Lighting System and also Monsoon protection of Electrical Equipments.
* Handling of Substation and control room electrification project which includes Cable routing, laying, jointing, termination, testing & commissioning of LT and HT cables.
* Project Execution as per the project schedule and Site Supervision during project execution to ensure time, quality & safety compliance.
* Co-ordination with contractors, measurement of job, material consumption and reconciliation.
* Root cause analysis of equipment breakdown, corrective and preventive actions.
* In PM Module, Notification creation, PM order changing, & completion of PM order through SAP System.
* Commissioning of MOVs, fault finding in Actuators and rectification of the same.
* Commissioning, Condition Monitoring and Fault rectification of Heat Tracing System of the unit.
* Condition Monitoring of AC/DC UPS and its Distribution boards.

2) At 220 KV switchyard and 33 KV MRSS (Main Receiving Substation)

Designation: Deputy Manager (Shift In charge Switchyard & MRSS)
Reporting to: Senior Manager

* Operation and Maintenance of 33 KV Main Receiving Substation (Refinery Distribution) and 220KV Switchyard.
* Planning and scheduling of routine day to day jobs.
* Involvement in the pre commissioning activities of upcoming 220KV Areva Make Switchyard and GIS (Gas Insulated Substation) instead of existing substation.
* To Ensure all commissioning related works for the facilities are in accordance with project specifications and to make assure that they are maintained in order to safeguard technical integrity.
