Chemical Engineer (Petroleum Testing)

To be able to apply the theoretical knowledge gained, familiarized myself with various chemical engineering operations and petroleum testing thus enriching my practical experience along with my field of specialization.

-Conduct testing of petroleum products in gasoline, diesel & fuel oil and produces accurate test results in accordance with prescribed ASTM methods ( Density, Viscosity, Distillation, Flash Point, Cetane Index, Water by Distillation, Water & Sediments, RON, MON, Copper Corrosion, Compatibility, Ash, TBN,TAN, Sulfur Content, Pour Point, Cloud Point, Pentane Insolubles, Reid Vapor Pressure ,Micro Carbon Residue, Color.

-Conduct testing of RON, Density and Sulfur at JETTI Phils. Cagayan De Oro. And also conduct witnessing at KEPHILCO advice by PTT Phils.

-Conduct Laboratory test of SHELL O.C.M. samples (Argina 40, Gadina 40, Omala 150, Tellus 46, Shell Rimula X, and etc.).

-Maintained and Perform Calibration of thermometer, hydrometer & Other test Equipment at Intertek Cebu laboratory.

-Supervise and provides direction to the drivers/samplers.

-Conduct laboratory testing of CHEVRON blending project. Such as BFO60, BFO200, BFO400, BFO1100.

-Conduct Fuel Marker Testing of Caltex Gold w/ techron, Caltex Silver w/ techron & Power Diesel from all Depots and all Caltex station of Chevron in Luzon and Visayas Area.

-Perform handblend of Caltex base and Additives. And coordinate with Caltex Depot Supervisor regarding Injector problem.
