Over 5 years Experience as Mud logger / Data engineer

• Presently working as a Data Engineer for Oil Field Instrumentation India Limited, Mumbai, (www.ofiindia.com, An ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company).
 Data engineer/Mud logger, / India / Responsible on both offshore and onshore drilling rigs for the collation, processing, and interpretation of geological & drilling data and the optimization of drilling parameters, using Oil Field Instrumentation(India) Limited data acquisition systems.

• Worked as a Mud logger for Cyratron (Techmation & Oilex system ltd) Mudlogging for short period.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• M.Sc. Applied Geology (2001 – 2003), Anna University, Chennai, India. With 1st Division.

• B.Sc Geology (1998 – 2001) with 1st Division, Jawahar Science College, Aff, to University of Madras, Chennai.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rig up and Rig Down procedures and Installation, operation, maintenance, calibration of different sensors and trouble shooting of different equipments of mud logging unit.

• Evaluate gas panels measuring total gas and its components (C1, C2, C3, iC4, nC4, iC5, nC5). The gas panels being based on Flame Ionization Detection (FID) principle as well as TCD also.

• Monitor-drilling operations through online systems and gas levels, and report any anomaly to an appropriate person for action.

• Design and produce computer generated gas log, as per client specifications.

• Use client provided gas interpretation methods to evaluate quality of reservoirs and source rocks.
