INTERNSHIP IN DRILLING DEPARTMENT AUG 27, 2007 TO SEP 24, 2007

Four weeks internship in Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority Limited (OGDCL) includes office training and rig visit;

Training in Islamabad OGDC Office
Comprehensive training in various areas of drill engineering includes interpretation of geological information, well designing & planning, rig maintenance, study & functionality of instruments in the following departments;

„« Drilling operations;
„« Well planning;
„« Rig maintenance;
„« Rig Equipments.

Rig Visit in Kohat - Shaker dara
Seven days extensive visit of rig in different sections includes mud section, drilling section & geological section. Followings are the brief description of my achievements;

„« Observe 200 meters drilling (from 1800 meters to 2000 meters), pulling out, Additives and functions of drilling fluid;
„« Practically operate drilling brake;
