I have achieved 37 years of Extensive Experience in the Construction (EPC), Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start Up (CSU) & Operational phases of Oil Refineries, LNG/NGL/LPG Process Facilities, High/Low Pressure and Sweet & Sour Gas Recovery Plants, Sulphur Recovery, Oil Production, Oil Treatment Facilities, Oil Sands Recovery, Petro-Chemical Industry, Oil/Gas (pipeline) Movements, ALL Utilities, Compressors, Gas Turbine Operation & Power Distribution.

Most of my career has been involved working in the Canadian Oil/Gas, Petro-chemical and Oil Sands Industry.
The past 16 years have entailed working in UAE, Libya and Oman in Process Pre/Commissioning & Start-Up, Oil/Gas Pipeline Operations & Process OJT Instruction to Local & Multi-Cultural Operational personnel .

Have been involved on 5 “Grass-Roots” Modular Projects in which 3 were with EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) that entailed regular visits to the vendors’ work shops.

I have worked with many teams in the success of projects from the construction phase to and including optimization phase (Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Start Up).

I have been extensively involved in DCS and Process On-Job Training and Instruction to achieve Operator competency. Conducting assessments and gap analysis for operations and procedural tasks; Including but not limited to: Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality Assurance, process monitoring, trouble shooting and optimization of process units; Preparation of equipment for start up, shut down and maintenance activities; safety and work permit preparation and monitoring; pre job planning, Tool-box sessions and lessons learned with all involved personnel.
Computer literate with Microsoft applications and have a good knowledge using PLC’s, SCADA and DCS. I have also constructed and maintained graphics for production, processing and training on DCS systems (Honeywell, Foxboro & Bailey).
