POSITION:- ASSISTANT ENGINEER DATE 2006-2009

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Report directly to the Production Manager on the process condition of the finished mill of a cement plant
-Report directly to the Production Manager on Management Information System, daily production figures, running hours, downtime , causes of downtime and action taken.
- Report directly to the Works Manager any situation that arises in the course of operation of finished mill that could not be resolved within an interval of 30 minutes.
- Operate on Expert Control & Supervision System- Advanced Expert Controller (Fuzzy Logics.)
-Coordinate and monitor the operation of cement processing production from the multifunction central process control machinery.
- Coordinate and supervise the machines, process operators, assistants, helpers and other production crew from central control room.
- Coordinate and control process start- up, shutdown, running, optimization, trouble- shooting, adjusting equipment, vavles, pumps, drives and process equipment from the central control room.
- Authorize or co-sign maintenance work orders, shutdown, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance.
- Maintain logs of production and other operational data
- Prepare production and other report for management information.
- Sample products, perform tests, record data, carry- out statistical process control on process operation as operation demands.
- Participate in Safety audits and program and provide emergency response when required.
